Some people daydream of eloping to far of places but in Peggy's case she had an actual dream of getting married in Iceland. She dreamt she was wearing an elvish looking wedding dress, standing in a lava field with her cape blowing in the wind. When she woke up she just had to convince her fiancé to travel from Germany to Iceland for the wedding and that wasn't too hard. The ceremony was held in the very small turf church in Árbæjarsafn, Reykjavík, with just their very closest family. We felt quite honoured to be trusted to take part in such an intimate ceremony - S&H
Here is a recipe for an amazing wedding: One set of the most wonderful couple we've ever met, the Icelandic countryside used as a backdrop, a traditional Icelandic country church, mother of the bride takes care of the catering and she happens to run one of the best and cutest restaurants in the country, a healthy dose of planning and a boat load of happy atmosphere. Weirdly enough this is exactly what happened when Kalli and Hugrún got married.
