October in Iceland has many faces. One day a storm can rip all the leaves off the trees and the next the grass just sways gently in the breeze under a calm cloud cover. October was definitely showing us it’s gentler side when we met up with Jaspreet and Daljodh at the tiny village of Arnarstapi, located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in West Iceland.
They had come a long way from their home in the bustling city of Vancouver to this remote part of an already remote island. We spent this quiet fall evening roaming the cliffs by the sea, wandering around moss covered lava fields, running around windy mountain tops and finishing our little adventure by wading a river after sunset.
The fiery passion and love these two have for each other was apparent through out the whole evening as well as in the images below, proving that being cold is just a state of mind.
